This cute little tea house acquired its famous tilt after being restructured in 1718 with unseasoned green oak. Cream teas that are fit for kings and queens, gorgeous sandwiches and victorian specialities such as carrot and Victoria sponge cakes and sticky toffee pudding.

Not sure this is much more than a place to get off a holiday snap, but funky nevertheless.

Description

Step back into the time of Shakespeare with a visit to the Crooked House of Windsor. This gem of a landmark dates to the year 1592. Its current crooked state dates to the year 1687, from a restructuring of the edifice using unseasoned or "green" wood. This unique attraction embodies the sort of charming eccentricity that you expect from an English landmark. The Crooked House of Windsor is not merely a landmark for visitors to tour. It is a destination for a memorable meal as well. Whether you crave a hearty English breakfast, a classic tea service or sumptuous desserts, your tastes are met while you enjoy the crooked floors and tasteful decor that make the Crooked House so special.
