First, this is a Jewish owned, Jewish clientele, Kosher establishment. The building isn't much, in fact it looks like it is part of the Motel behind it, and you have to enter into the motel parking lot and park behind the building, entering from the back.
Inside, you will find mostly Latino workers. On one wall, there is a large mural, beautifully painted with what looks like a scene from settlers in the outreaches of Israel, perhaps even from the occupied territories, creating a new settlement.
On another wall is a large glass enclosed wine rack, going the length of the wall. So they have a large wine selection.
I came with my Israeli business friend, and she only eats Kosher, and is vegetarian (except for fish). So she orders a large pizza, half veggie, half cheese, and I added a my own dish to try.
What did I order? Mozza Ball soup? Lentils? Lox and Bagels? No!
Spicy Tuna Roll!
Whaa da ....?
Yes, even the Kosher Jewish place can't fight the overpowering and ubiquitous desire of more and more Americans eating Sushi!
They have about 8 selections of Sushi, 7 of them being your most popular rolls, and then a Nigiri plate. If you really know sushi, don't come here. It isn't good, and it is sort of sloppily prepared.
Latinos in a Kosher place making Sushi, what did you expect, Moses parting the Red Sea to bring you the perfect Sushi?
Oy Vay, Snap out of it!
The Pizza was good, and large. My friend had a lot to take home for dinner.
If you come here, wear your yamaka, you will fit in well. Don't wait for your beard to grow another foot, though, or it will be some years before you try The Dairy Place.Recommended for:Vegetarian
