Awesome cocktails with equally amazing food. The Corned Beef is one if the best sandwiches I've ever had. Loved the Tipperary a twist on the Manhattan and their hand pulled beer is brewed for them by Six Point. While its less then a year old, looks like its been around for ever... with food and drink this good it should be

The best drinks in New York. The drinks are all unique and are simply amazing. The food is also very good. I would recommend trying one of the communal punches.

Winner of multiple awards in 2013 (World's Best New Cocktail Bar, World's Best New Cocktail Menu and International Bartender of the Year), the Dead Rabbit is an ode to Old New York and Irish-American tradition. As soon as you'll walk in, you'll notice the ground floor is very much like an Old Irish pub, with the exception that the cocktails here, even the bar food, are exceptionally better than any other Irish pub you have been to. Hanging out here comes with the full experience: the bartender voluntarily explains the history of the place and suggests which drinks to start off with. It's best to start with an Irish coffee - best I've ever had! - followed by a warm whisky punch, recipe dating from the 1600s. Order some appetizers, they are all incredibly delicious! Also, ask for a tour upstairs, which is more of a speakeasy. Truly the best bar I've seen in the usually neutral Financial District area! Perfect for large groups too, if you come earlier in the night.

Really cool place in FiDi. Downstairs is like an old Irish pub, but upstairs is more like a speakeasy. You order drinks from a book and the list is EXTENSIVE, including interesting wine mixes and absinthe. You can also order small plates. Drinks are really unique and really good. They also give you a sample of the day's communal punch in a little espresso mug.
