Based on the reviews of Kings Cross we wanted a safe, reputable hotel that was also walking distance to the bars and restaurants. Another gogobot user had recommended the Diamant and it didn't disappoint. Modern rooms with free wifi and most importantly, as we were there on the hottest day in Australia's history, air conditioning! As a sidenote I didn't ...

Located both in Darlinghurst and now in Surry Hills, the lines running out the door at peak times may be a bit ridiculous, but you can't argue with the gelato. Creamy, rich, perfectly balanced and oh so sweet -- try the salted caramel with white chocolate. It will blow your mind.Popular withFoodies

This trendy Thai Restaurant serves a delicious fusion of contemporary and traditional Thai flavors. The ambiance is dark and incredibly romantic. The wine selection includes good NZ, AU and French wines. Despite the slow service, the experiences is remarkable.Popular withTrendsters

Global Comfort food. One of Sydney's best chef - Dan Hong - rocks the mic @ Ms.Gs. The Bangkok Fried Chicken is the best in Sydney and his creativity in food and drink is complimented by the hip-hop industrial vibe and great view of this trilevel room / dining space. Must do for Foodies visiting Sydney. Or New Yorker who ...

This is hands-down the best meal I ate in a year living in Sydney. Probably, the best Italian food I've eaten outside of Italy. They have meatball the size of your head. Also, the truffle fuseili is transcendent. On top of all that, the restaurant has a strange 1980's New York hip hop theme complete with ghetto-blasters on the wall, ...

Love Fishface. It's a small restaurant in a cute neighborhood in Sydney. The menu changes daily based on what's available at the fish market that morning. Oysters were delicious. Everything is super fresh. I tried Australian Spanner Crab for the first time. It's not cheap, but it's BYOB so you won't spend money on alcohol.

I very much like the coffee. I do find the Eggs Benedict a little too rich - but that's probably just coz i'm not French.

Mad Pizza is a casual, though with plenty of character Italian restaurant. The pizzas are how every pizza should be: thin crust, crispy, topped with great quality ingredients. Essentially, it was the best pizza I have had in a long time.

Chinese food with an Australian like twist I guess. Not too much seating, and of the five dishes we had there nothing was too memorable, especially for the price. The duck was the best of what we had though. The walls are covered in trashy porno pictures which is just a bit weird.
