This upscale hotel bar is a must for the visiting guest. The hotel is known to be haunted, and this is one of the most swanky places to get a drink in the city.

A good place to meet for drinks on 6th street. Fancy, and always filled with out of towners staying in the Driskill. Fun to visit during SXSW or ACL.

I was upset that my company had planned to eat in the hotel that we stayed in. However, the dinner was excellent and it was worth it for our last night. The service was killer and their wine list is fantastic. The old fashion decor reminds you of old school texas. Their steaks were perfectly cooked. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because they forgot my appitizer, and once telling them they did not even bring it...

The Driskill was one of my first fine-dining restaurant experiences ever and I didnt know what to expect. At the time, the Driskill was probably the best restaurant in town and the food was well thought out, creative and beautifully presented. Eating here for the first time was one of the reasons that I started making it more of a priority to eat at similar establishments. Since the chef left a couple of years ago, the food has not been executed to the same level of perfection, but is still a solid option.

Great Happy House spot in a beautiful, historic hotel.
