Pub with fun atmosphere celebrating the discovery of DNA which was announced here and also the American bar with flyers' names on the wall. Food mediocre and not spectacular beer, but must see for tourists.

One of the most famous pubs in Cambridge, the Eagle is always pretty busy. unlike many pubs, the Eagle has a number of small interconnected rooms that help break up the ambiance, even when it is busy. There are a number of historical references to the air force in the second world war around the pub as it was a common drinking place for servicemen. Definitely worth a visit.Recommended for:History Buffs

The Eagle is perhaps Cambridge's most famous pub, due to Crick and Watson announcing their discovery of how DNA carries genetic information here.
It serves up standard pub fare and is always rammed.
