Found the perfect place to wind down on a Monday night!!!!
Dim bar, live music after 10pm. Was enjoying every bit of it! Here's what I saw http://instagram.com/p/f…
The band was so soothing. So different from the other live music I've heard else where.
:: FOOD ::
- buffalo mushrooms: this is what convinced me to go here. The buffalo sauce was overwhelming for me. Maybe next time I could ask them if they could be easy on the sauce.
- Captain kangaroo: oooooo! LOVED! cream cheese, hash brown, egg, etc. Got protein style and some salad on the side. Was hard to see what I was eating
:: HH ::
Great HH deal and each day they have a special item on their menu.
LOTS OF PARKING in their private lot. Not shady at all!

The Econdite is locals only type of bar that welcomes all who are willing to come to what they like to call Skidrokyo (the area that connects Little Tokyo and Skid Row). The neighborhood is not much to look at but they do have a gated parking lot that offers free parking in the evenings and plenty of street parking near by. They have a heated outdoor patio, indoor dining area, and a very nice bar. The vibe of the place is somewhere between an old west hideout and 1950’s beer bar, with a lot of wood paneling, a large wooden Indian, and a big collection of vintage beer advertisements. The menu has a assortment of different burgers and fries with some daily specials, like hand made raviolis and meatball subs. The bar offers a wide range of craft beers, a few house wines, and a full assortment of spirits. The crowd is a mix of artists, USC students, and people who live and work in downtown. Most nights offer sports on the indoor TVs or live music. I definitely recommend checking this place out if your looking for a bar in Downtown LA that has no pretense or sense of entitlement.
