You will find various old-school purveyors of fish and chips around London. We like the unassuming nature, great prices, and vintage sign of the Fryers' Delight. Bonus fact: the fish in fish and chips was originally breaded as a means of hygienic transport. The fish would then be "peeled" and eaten almost like a banana.

This "chippy" serves old-skool fish and chips. That's it. There are different kinds of fish to choose from, and a relentlessly retro atmosphere. It's also cheap, and in central London.

I only love fish 'n chips when they're very hot, and this place delivered. Chips were good 'n hot too. On next trip must compare to competitor Alens down the block in a plate to plate tasting.
