Visiting Dublin and not visit the Guinness Storehouse is like not visiting Ireland at all!! The Guinness Storehouse is a fantastically designed and entertaining exhibition of everything Guinness. The self guided tour is informative and the sweet ending is a pint at the panoramic penthouse bar. I tasted the freshest, most refreshingly delicious draft Guinness right here, at its home!

Fantastic! Great tour, very crowded but informative and entertaining. Took a couple of hours to do the whole thing. Afterwards the top floor offered beautiful, magnificent views back into town to accompany a cold Guinness and a great discussion on the merits of having good water available to make good beer!

Fun exhibition about the history of brewing in Dublin, the process and an exhibition of memorabilia. Finishes with a complementary glass of the black stuff in a roof top bar with a superb view over Dublin.

I'm going to start by saying I am a big fan of Guinness. It is one of my favorite beers. If you aren't a fan of Guinness you may want to skip it, though it is still interesting to learn about the history of this beer. If you are planning on going I recommend buying your ticket online ahead of time so you don't have to wait in line to buy the ticket

I enjoyed visiting Guinness but felt a bit like I was paying to walk through an advertisement. The external facade and the views from the rooftop bar were the highlights. A bit of a shame they chose to go very commercial instead of emphasizing heritage and showcasing the authenticity of the historical structures.

After this tour, I've gained the appreciation of enjoying a Guiness. The tour was definitely touristy but the best part is the free pint while on the top floor of the facility. You see the entire city of Dublin (360 degrees). The gentleman in the frame is Arthur Guiness, founder of the company.
