We seem to always like going on this ride whenever we are at Disney World. I guess because it is easy on us old folks but still is able to give you a shock now and then. I like looking at the effects to see how great they really are.

How can you not love the castle? And as long as a show is not going on or about to start, you can walk through the main hallway. You can also reserve a table for breakfast with the characters and princesses, but it'll cost a pretty pennyPopular withFamiliesLGBTDesign

Cinderella's Royal Table is a somewhat recent addition to Cinderella's Castle where your "Little Princess" can eat with Royalty and her family. Reservations are needed months in advance.Popular withFamiliesFoodiesVegetarian

While not a fan of all-you-can-eat restaurants, this is a great alternative to the Crystal Palace. The food is served family-style with American fare all the way. The food is plentiful and fattening. A part of me wonders if foreign tourists see this place as a celebration of decadence. Reservations are most certainly required.Popular withFamiliesLuxury

No trip to Magic Kingdom is complete without a Dole Whip! It's soft serve pineapple ice cream. The only thing that can make it better is to have a Dole Whip Float! Mmmmmm!!

There is just something about the restaurants that line Main Street U.S.A. This place celebrates sports in general. Maybe, if you have never had a hot dog, this place has some value. But it is crowded, loud and otherwise not enjoyable.Popular withFamilies

There is ample seating inside Cosmic Ray's which gives your family a great opportunity to rest from the sunshine and heat for a while. The service was meh, but the food was good. We had a grilled chicken sandwich (with fixin's from the topping bar) and the turkey sandwich which was HUGE! My only caveat to this place is that ...Popular withFamilies

If you're looking for something a little different from the typical burgers and chicken nuggest you find a many of the WDW quick-service restaurants, this is a great choice. (And so is the Columbia Harbour House.) Pasta and salads are the highlight of the menu. I had the chicken caesar salad, and DH had the chicken penne pasta. Our son ...Popular withFamilies

This is a fast snack spot nestled between The Hall of Presidents and Cinderella's Castle. It's well hidden, shaded and a nice little hideaway. You would think they only serve funnel cakes and popcorn but they also serve a chicken and wild rice soup. Odd eh? It's a great spot to pick up a rootbeer float and relax.

This location was formerly known as El Pirata y el Perico. Tortuga Tavern is open seasonally. I'm not sure what schedule the park follows in deciding to open this restaurant as it really seems to be luck of the draw. They serve up typical Mexcian fare which is good to serve a craving but nothing exceptional to write home about.Popular withFamilies

This little counter-service gem is located near Splash Mountain. Do the ride first, then grab a bite afterward. Otherwise, you'll die of heat & humidity like we did (we ate before getting wet on the ride). Not a huge amount of variety here, but that's OK. Grab a flatbread & some carrot cake. You'll be set.

One of the nicer, more upscale restaurants at Disney. Located at the Grand Floridian resort, it is not in the main hotel building but further down by the water. Here, you have a really nice view of The Contemporary Hotel, Space Mountain and the Magic Kingdom. If you time it right, you even get a view of the fireworks show ...Popular withLuxury

Located in the Contemporary resort, this is one of the few buffet style restaurants I actually enjoy. You are on the level sort of below, but you get to see the monorails gliding by. The food was actually very good, and very filling. Reservations are certainly required. If you can, plan a late lunch. This will give you a nice ...Popular withFamilies

There is nothing more fun that starting your Magic Kingdom day than with breakfast at Chef Mickey's! Located in the Contemporary Resort just next to MK, it's a perfect opportunity to be close to the park and get there in time for rope drop if you're up for an early reservation. I think this was our son's favourite experience. He ...Popular withFamilies

If you want fancy-schmancy at Disney World, Victoria & Albert's is your place. It's almost too fancy for me, though. Don't get me wrong - I love gourmet cuisine and the pomp & circumstance that surrounds it. However, having to worry about a strict dress code while on vacation is not my cup of tea.
