The Home Apartments are centrally-located and offer short-term or long-term apartments. It also happens to be located in the former site of the Paris Cinema, which was a movie theatre that used to play cult classics back in the day. There is no lobby to speak of, only a long corridor with small doorways that maintenance men seemed to disappear in and out of regularly. It's a bit of a strange place, but the prices are reasonable and there are discounts for longer stays. The staff showcased the best aspects of the Israeli people; they were kind, warm and very helpful. All the rooms are like small apartments, some with a bedroom and living room, others with two bedrooms. The furnishing are not of the highest quality, but it's clean and safe. It actually reminded me of kibbutz housing.

For shorter or longer stays and more amenities, the Home Apartments are a centrally located and smart choice. The place isn't amazingly beautiful or classily decorated, but their staff is Israel's most welcoming types -- friendly young women and gruff grandma types who wanna give you unsolicited advice (in a good way). There’s a shared computer for use in the tiny lobby, but no real shared space to speak of. But Tel Aviv isn’t a city for a lot of time spent indoors – so use the little kitchenette to make simple foods and take your work to a coffee shop or your socializing to one of the many bars around the corner. With a location one block from the sea you’ll be able to take advantage of the beach promenade for bike rides and walks all around the city.
