Great place to hang out for the day. There's a variety of things to do. Eat at fine dining, casual, or in between. Shop for new things or go antique shopping. Go wine, olive oil, cheese and dessert tasting with the girls. Or, just get some fresh fruits and veggies from the farmers markets. A nice, relaxing day...

    Castle Rock Trail

Rough steep trail, about a mile long for a thrilling panoramic view on top of the mountains and above the lake. Take water, hat, sunscreen and spend a couple hours. I have seen young kids, and older folks too. Gotta by steady on your feet, and ready to crawl over big rocks on occasion.

Had lunch here with a couple of friends. A bit pricey for me, but not out of the ordinary for Temecula visitors. The wine sampling was fantastic too. That makes me a happy camper (at least it did then).
