A stunningly beautiful hotel in the heart of the University of Pennsylvania campus, right next to the Wharton School of Business. I was so taken aback by the unique design of this place. They merge that scholarly hardwood aura of an Ivy-League professor's study with the finest of luxury accommodations. It's both refined and wonderfully comfortable. As a communications guy, this hotel really catered to my tastes with complimentary in-room IPads and a full media console to adapt personal devices onto a massive HD flat screen. Visiting Philadelphia, I was a little hesitant to stay on campus rather than downtown, but thrilled to find I could get to City Center in minutes. Even walking from the hotel is a reasonable option. Also, there's great restaurant and bar options all around. Would love to try to get back here this summer for the Penn Museum's Maya 2012 exhibit!

The Inn at Penn is a hotel in the middle of the University of Pennsylvania, mostly there for alumni and students' families I think. It's elegantly decorated in dark woods and carpets and walls. The rooms are comfortable.

I choose the Inn based primarily for its location since I was working nearby.

Pretty standard Hilton Hotel catering to visitors to Penn. Also houses the Faculty Club. Not sure it's all that, but better than the Sheraton.

Fully renovated hotel directly adjacent to the University of Pennsylvania. Rich wood decor throughout lobby. State of the art rooms, from your ipad that introduces you to the hotel amenities to full services connection for your electronics. Far enough away from the bustle of the historic district but close to transportation to get you there. A healthy walk for those of us that enjoy seeing the sites by foot.
