The Ivy is located in the West End making it convenient for pre or post theatre going. The menu is extensive and covers a great range of cuisines, everything from chicken tikka masala and risotto to hamburgers and rack of lamb. When we went we all enjoyed our meals.

But the prices are relatively expensive, I think, because of the setting and the restaurant's reputation as a celebrity hang out. The restaurant building includes a private members club.

I would recommend going for reliable food and a nice ambiance but it is not really a special occasion place and just as good food can be found at a lower price.

Nice place with good food- for sure it caters to celebrities as there is a big notice on the menu no photography allowed.

The food and service were very good, the ambiance was just like any other restaurant though, not sure what I was expecting but it didn't seem as fancy as some other places like Nobu- when the prices are similar.

One of the best, fancy dinners I've had in London! Great for a special occasion or fancy date. I still recreate one of the desserts we enjoyed here... fresh berries with white chocolate sauce. Decadent, yet so simple!

always reliable for celeb spotting - famous for their industry clientele and English cuisine - a nice little place for lunch or dinner.

Every time when I'm in London, I go here. Even without a reservation you can be seated for lunch. From Fish and Chips to Foie gras, from hamburger to entrecote. Perfect crew, very nice atmosphere.
