I love the James Chicago because it redefines the boutique hotel experience. It’s upscale and has a beautifully styled restaurant with outstanding service. In Chicago it’s important to have the right location; I love walking and the James couldn’t be in a better spot.

Overall nice store, lots of stuff with all the varieties of Nike shoes. They even have treadmills so you can take the shoes for a spin. It is really busy so the sales representatives get busy and distracted but they are friendly.

If you want to dance to typical dance music, but with a view of the city, go here. In the summer their patio is open and you get to enjoy one of the many high rise rooftops in the city. Drinks are typically pricey, but thats's to be expected for a downtown bar. Check your coat and dance a little.

I'm a sucker for live music and that's exactly what The Joynt does so well. 7 nights a week in downtown Chicago you can find some of the best Blues, R&B, Motown and Pop musicians in the state of Illinois. One of the owners used to be a road manager for Sinatra and you'll feel the classic, old-school vibe as ...

I've tried Bikram in the past and have failed. I'm not sure what it is about BYRN but from my first class I was hooked. Mike the owner and one of the instructors was by far my favorite. He was very encouraging of people to not leave class and would take the time to meet with yogis after class to ...

Came here for an event after work and the crowd was already building. Downstairs has an upscale sports bar feel but I prefer the spaciousness of the upstairs. Get here early though. It's one of the "are you on the list?" places. Sliders were really good.

Since 1959, Jazz Record Mart has been supplying audiophiles with hard-to-find vinyl records.
