The Kahala Hotel & Resort

5000 Kahala Ave Honolulu, HI 96816
24 reviews

This is a lovely 5-star resort, located just east of Honolulu. The grounds are lovely, the beach is very private, they have dolphins on-property, and the staff is amazing. The rooms are updated, and there is plenty to enjoy with on-site golf and spa.

Near the Kahala Mall, this facility provides dolphin performances, educational lectures, and hands on experiences that the entire family (especially first timers) will absolutely love. The dolphins are comically ingenious, ...

I had high expectations from this place, anything at The Kahala, actually. It was a nice setting dining outside under the moonlight. The atmosphere was great, but the quality of the food, not as high end as I thought. My friend ordered the filet mignon, and he commented that Ruth Chris' was much better. I did like my butterfish dish. ...

Incredible experience. It gets a little shallow in areas, where the rocks jut up close to the surface. It's easy to get yourself lodged in an shallow tide-pool-esque area, but it's nothing a little wiggling and wading can't fix. The water is crystal clear. The fish are plentiful and the brightest colors you've ever seen. Do. This. You must.

Came here for lunch one day, and as much as whole foods is the same as the ones back home in California, I'm glad we stopped by the deli to check out their local specials.
