This luxury hotel is great for guests of all ages, but visitors aged 12 and under get special treatment. Among the surprises offered at the Langham Huntington are a teddy bear backpack, a coloring book and crayons, a complimentary chocolate bar, and a newsletter with tips for finding kid-friendly activities in the area.Recommended for:

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is amazing and the surounding make you feel like you are on vacation somewhere far far away even though you are just outside of Pasadena. During the holiday, the hotel has a wonderful Teddy Bear tea time for the kids.Recommended for:

This hotel is perhaps the most interesting and historically best-preserved in Los Angeles, combining history with elegance and fine dining. Albert Einstein, Theodore Roosevelt and Prince Philip all stayed here and would, I suspect, do so again today. As far as I know, in California the only hotel comparable to the Huntington is San Diego's tourist infested Hotel Del Coronado. The hotel's restaurant, The Dining Room, serves excellent quality meals. Its Sunday brunches are outstanding.Recommended for:

Came here for a bridal shower .
Really fancy and Beautiful. We had tea in the tea room for two hours with a small food meal and dessert menu. The staff was great and attentive. Our waiter Kevin was really sweet and helpful.
This is a great place for a bridal shower but it's pricey for what you get. I dontknow how much it was but it prob was pricey with very little food. Of course its all finger foods but for the price you pay... You could prob get a three course meal for each participant at a decent restaurant (like cafe bizou). But you pay for the ambiance.
Great! They were attentive and very kind. I always had my tea cup filled and the food in front of me.
Very little of the main course. But very good... I just wished they had more of the finger foods cuz after the tea party I ate a large meal.
Desserts were too sweet butit was good
Beautiful... Very elegant
Valet only... We got it comp since we had a bridal shower but it typically is $12?
Lots of foreigners in the lobby.

The Huntington is perhaps the most luxurious hotel in the area and is much more than just the building. I've stayed here on the first night of my honeymoon before flying out the next day and had a great time. Brunch, although pricey, was a luxurious treat. The gardens are wonderful.Recommended for:

The Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena is nice, but pretty expensive. The Langham has an exclusive, high-class feel. The surrounding area has some great-looking houses. There is no public parking and only valet. The cars parked right in the front of the hotel definitely show the luxurious mystique that surrounds this hotel. The valet area almost looks like a luxury car show room. After the initial amazement from the car collection in the front, one enters the lobby, which is decorated with art, marble floors and has elegant decor. There is a small pond, an open air patio, and a nice oak bar with a lounging center. There is a high-class restaurant. Their restaurant's patio overlooks the entire city of Pasadena and a well-maintained and well thought-out grassy field. The pool is upscale, but not grand like the Caesar Palace's pool. The hotel is large and sits on a huge property. There were also a variety of spacious meeting halls. The hotel feels appropriate for planned and/or special occasions, and less for the "let's just stop here for the night" attitude. They also have a great spa and massage area. I give this place a 5-star rating. It's a great place for a special occasion or to impress a loved one for a fancy weekend.Recommended for:

The Huntington Hotel is a Pasadena institution. Long before the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl brought fame to the city of roses, the Huntingon was offering guests a grand experience. The hotel has to be seen to believed as it truly relics back to the days of the robber barons and the steel magnates. Surrounding the hotel are the magnificent Huntington Gardens which are worth a journey in their own right, with foliage and flowers from the world round. The hotel isn't cheap, but you do get a royal experience with silk sheets, vaulted ceilings, marbled bathrooms and the best mini-bar I've ever seen in a hotel!

Beautiful hotel with fantastic gardens and grounds. With the makeover after Langham purchased the property post Ritz-Carlton, this hotel brings modern glamour to country chic. The interior designer really knocked his/herself out. The bar is just absolutely amazing, bringing in modern decor with traditional highlights, while still keeping it "California Comfortable." I think whoever designed this place was a genius and the theme shows through to the rooms, where my wife was happy to be greeted by "Alice in Wonderland" themed sundries. She was really delighted by all the pink stuff, which was done tastefully enough as to not demasculinate the other half :)
Overall, comfortable hotel and with the government rate, acquired for $130/night, a fantastic deal in my opinion.

Locally known as "The Huntington" this property is by far the nicest spot to stay in the area, and I may even say Los Angeles at large. The historic property has a bit of a Great Gatsy air about it with its grandeose hallways and ornate ballrooms. The bar and restaurant are top notch, but the location is perfect to venture to any of Pasadena's extensive list of top cuisine.
The Huntington has a beautiful pool and a jacuzzi tucked away amongst the beginnings of a Japanese garden. The hotel has become more and more expensive throughout the years, but is worth the splurge if you are willing.
