The Langham, London

1C Portland Place | Regent Street, London W1B 1JA, England
15 reviews

Very pricey tea time in the palm court of the Langham hotel. Typical British - good to take international clients. But I wouldn't go again. Definitely not worth the money.

    Meat Liquor

0.24 mi from The Langham, London
    11 reviews

Second visit has confirmed that this is hands down one of the best burgers in London. Brought a chef on this visit and he fully agrees. However, the deep fried pickles are a bit of a waste, as they're thinly sliced as opposed to thick spears.

An enjoyable Vietnamese and well priced. You can't book and it does get busy. Vietnamese is generally a healthy option and Pho is a type of traditional broth so stick to that if you are after a low calorie option. (what the hell has happened to me I have lost the plot writing a review)...

    Gaylord Indian Restaurant

0.15 mi from The Langham, London
    2 reviews

Excellent food served in somewhat traditional surroundings at this well established Indian restaurant in central London. The flavours are somewhat unusual compared to the 'standard issue' Indian restaurant and make the eating experience a most pleasurable one. The restaurant itself has aged, the decor probably needs a new lease of life and the tables are somewhat small for 4 people! ...

Joe & The Juice - Regent Street

0.15 mi from The Langham, London
    1 review

Joe & the Juice is fantastic! It's a Danish chain that only has a handful of shops in London, and Regent St is my favourite. Super spacious and lots of comfy spots to lounge around. As the name suggests, it's all about fresh juice, smoothies and coffee. Decent sandwiches as well.

High up in the Heron Tower in East London, this restaurant is famous for it's stunning views over the city of London. The view alone is worth the visit. The food isn't bad either, and not quite as pricey as you'd think. Open 24hrs, so you can go there for an uber-early breakfast and watch the sunrise.

    The Wolseley

    32 reviews

When you are visiting London, you must at least once go for high tea, and when you do, the Wolseley is one of the best places to do it. This is London at its finest. They serve amazing finger sandwiches (with the crusts cut off - hoorah!) - cakes, scones with clotted cream (one of the tastiest substances known to ...

OK, so I have grown up in SoCal and might have a different take on what good Japanese food is. For a chain noodle bar type place, it is not bad at all. And considering London prices, it's not too expensive. But I am by no means overwhelmed by how good it is. If you are looking to eat something ...

Wish the tables weren't so close to each other so you don't have to have dinner next to two drunk business men and a couple of anorexic models! Other than that, fantastic! The cod is UNBELIEVABLY good. Sake cocktails are unbeatable. The chocolate box is to die for. Totally worth it.

    Hard Rock Cafe

0.99 mi from The Langham, London
    24 reviews

Used to be obsessed with Hard Rock Cafe when I was in high school. Now, I'm a little more meh about it. Sure, you can depend on reliable food there, but why go here when there are so many other more interesting places to experience? However, if there is any HRC that you should go to, it's the original one.

    Hakkasan Hanway Place

My favorite restaurant in London, hands down. Every dish is beautifully presented and very tasty. The atmosphere is super hip, with high ceilings, lacquered wood and lighting that makes it feel intimate even when the place is packed. And the cocktails are great as well. Definitely get a reservation, though, as they fill up weeks in advance.

Hands down the best dim sum in London. You pay for the food for sure, but it is totally worth it. The ingredients are super fresh, the flavor is authentic and the presentation is elegant. This is not your stereotypical dim sum place where people hustle for food. Don't get me wrong, I love that atmosphere. Yauatcha is more posh ...
