Las Vegas is an amazing place to visit. I had visited Las Vegas with my family last year & it was a breathtaking experience. Although Vegas can be seen as a party land for people over 21 there is so much to explore with or without the family. Las Vegas is very hot & sticky in summer but once you're there you pretty much get use to it! My family & I visited many restaurants but could not stop going to Denny's. Denny's is a warm & welcoming restaurant for families. My family & I found so much to do like roller coasters around the hotel, taking the monorail & plenty of cheap shopping. My brothers went to a gun range & saw the UFC. My dad just loved the casinos in pretty much every hotel. I would highly recommend going to Las Vegas.Recommended for:

Not what it used to be. Been going here since I was 8 to visit grandparents. You could actually "drive" down The Strip in a nice slow manner and enjoy all the lights and marquees, parking was a breeze and walking The Strip, day or night was fun, easy and never frightening. Now, cars can keep you from moving no more than 10 feet in 20 minutes, barricades keep you from crossing the street except at certain points. "Millions" of tourists and strollers make walking The Strip a nightmare and the guys handing out "escort" cards every 5 feet really are bothersome and the cards disgusting! Used to go 4-5 times a year when living in LA, but for,the last 16 years living in Co. We only go maybe once every 2 years. Prices are outrageous, cars a nightmare, people EVERYWHERE, enough kids to drive you crazy and you have to step over the drunks and panhandlers! Not near as enjoyable, but if you want,to celebrate your 21st in big style, this is still the place! I'd you are over 45, you'd have more fun downtown!Recommended for:

The Last Vegas Strip is playground for adults at its best. Where else you can see Egyptian pyramid, Eiffel Tower and the Statute of Liberty all in one place. Walk around, check out hotel lobbies and enjoy yourself.

I'm not much of a gambler, but I love Vegas for the shows, especially Cirque De Soleil ("O" and "Zumanity"). Tours to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam are also available, and they should be taken advantage of because both sites are breathtaking.

Iconic, spectacular, and a huge concentration of neon lights. It's very unique, and really puts out the energy you need for a good time in Vegas! Note: The strip is LONG! Know where you're going, and probably consider taking a cab!Recommended for:

Only after visiting this Strip one can realize what it is all about!! It stands as the 2nd highest ranked tourist attraction in the united states. No doubt one can never like any other locations of lights, if you have seen this at night.
Personally sharing, I visitied Times Square after being to Strip and blv me, I didnt like Times Square, New York then !!!

This is the playground for adults, and it's perfect. I love that no one is up during the day, and that makes it easy to do all the tourist stuff, like gondola rides and going up the Eiffel Tower. I love that there are pedestrian bridges in front of Caesar's with escalators. I love that at night, it's so bright that it looks like day. I love that you can always find tickets to shows at the last minute, and normally for cheap. I love that most things are open all the time. There's not much not to like, except for slot machine junkies. They creep me out.

The Strip is awesome! just have to walk up and down The Strip at least once, go into all the hotels and just take the Vegas experience in, only after you've done that you can really say "I have been to Vegas!"

Don't be fooled. Your hotel is not just down the block. You may be able to see it, but it's FAR away. Plan on bringing your walking shoes. And if you're female - take advantage of all the free drinks just for being a girl :)Recommended for:
