If you don't know about the Las Vegas strip I'm not really sure what to tell you. We have the best casinos in the world here in Las Vegas. Great dining options, tons of shows it's like nothing else around

It's great the first few times, then the walking and tourists get annoying. I only stay on Freemont St now.

Iconic, spectacular, and a huge concentration of neon lights. It's very unique, and really puts out the energy you need for a good time in Vegas! Note: The strip is LONG! Know where you're going, and probably consider taking a cab!

Great just to take a curise down the street, but it will take a long time because of traffic. best time still is at night when everything is lit up. tryied not to do between 10 and 12 because people are getting off work.

The Vegas Strip is probably one of the most bizarre places I've ever been in my life. I've never seen so many ornery, drunk people in one place. I actually saw a woman in a fancy little black dress plop herself down on the pavement in a fit while crying and fighting with her (equally) drunk boyfriend. I felt like I was watching a reality show. It's one of those places that you need to see, at least once, to truly understand what it's like. I loved it.

The Last Vegas Strip is playground for adults at its best. Where else you can see Egyptian pyramid, Eiffel Tower and the Statute of Liberty all in one place. Walk around, check out hotel lobbies and enjoy yourself.

Lots of shiny stuff to distract you. Just hold on to your wallet, and don't take those cards they try to hand you.

The Vegas strip is just beautiful. Take the monorail from end to end and you'll get an amazing view of the entire strip and the gorgeous and unique architectures of each of the famous hotels, Venetian, Mirage, MGM, Luxor ... Stop by any of the monorail stop to pop into the inside and a walk through any of the casino hotels, the ostentatious interior decorations, and fascinating shows will be there to impress.

I'm not much of a gambler, but I love Vegas for the shows, especially Cirque De Soleil ("O" and "Zumanity"). Tours to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam are also available, and they should be taken advantage of because both sites are breathtaking.

The Vegas Strip is so iconic and so easily recognizable this has to be the most famous, well recognized, and in some sense surreal stretch of road in the world. Come on!? on the same street, there's the pyramid, a medieval castle, an italian villa, AND the Eiffel Tower?! surreal!

Quite possibly the best people watching on the planet! See if you can walk the whole thing in 100 degree or above heat. I have, it melted the bottoms of my sneakers.

Well, what more can I say? Its Las Vegas and The Las Vegas Blvd known as The Strip is like no other. It seems as if you're walking in a dreamm when you walk along the Strip, with the backdrop of casinos. They may seem so close yet, you can never get there.

During the day there's lots to see and do, and luckily all of those things are still available at night! After the sun goes down the neon lights guide you to whatever your heart desires, and in Vegas you can pretty much have it all. The temperatures drop after dark, and that is also when the energy and magic of the Strip comes alive.

Only after visiting this Strip one can realize what it is all about!! It stands as the 2nd highest ranked tourist attraction in the united states. No doubt one can never like any other locations of lights, if you have seen this at night.
Personally sharing, I visitied Times Square after being to Strip and blv me, I didnt like Times Square, New York then !!!

Description

Four miles of fun, decadence and fantastic shopping, dining and gambling is what lures people from around the world back to Vegas again and again. From the Mandalay Bay in the south to the Stratosphere in the north, "The Strip" is where the action is. With over 30 major casinos along with world-class entertainment venues, you'll never run out of things to do in this heart of "Sin City". Stroll along the dancing fountains at the Bellagio, shop til you drop at the Grand Canal Shoppes of the Venetian Resort & Casino, or catch any number of hit musical acts, Broadway shows, magic or comedians. A 24-hour, year round party, you'll likely be told, "What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas". But you can pretty much assume whatever did happened, happened along The Strip.
