The Lion's Share has a relaxed vibe and good food and service just between the Gas Lamp District, Seaport Village and the waterfront and Convention center. They have American food, but with a twist, offering unique dishes like Antelope Sliders, Duck Meatballs and Chicken Livers.

I usually only get great service from hipster looking tenders when I've grown out the beard and trimmed it down to the "Trucker". Even moreso when I walk in with my pant leg cuffed from not riding but wanting to look like I just got off my fixie.

But here, twice I've been received in great spirits... nice move!

Good to know I don't have to pretend to be smart, aloof and socialist to get a good drink in all of this town's new bars.

And the toasts, they're so toasty!
