This is a great spot in the Village. It’s a tiny unpretentious neighborhood restaurant with food that will knock your socks off. I have had so many incredible dinners there. The menu changes often, so it’s always something new. They have a great affordable wine list and you can order half bottles. I love the risotto and the scallops. Make reservations early!Recommended for:

This is a magical little restaurant tucked away in the West Village. Great date spot or golden find for a tourist (because the building above it is the one from Friends!). The service was impeccable, the food was creative and delicious and the drinks were spectacular. While we were waiting outside we were even offered some Prosecco on the house! It is a little pricey but I found every dime spent to be worth it.

I felt boring ordering the cheeseburger, but all the reviews I read were right! It is fantastic. I was let down by the meatball sliders. The beignes for brunch were also great. I will be going back here.

I decided to stop by the Little Owl tonight because I had fond memories of how tasty the food was. In fact, I remember wanting to lick my plate on my last visit. However, this time around I was far from being impressed. The arugula salad I had was extremely salty and at $11 for little more than a handful of argula, tomatoes, onion and shaved artichoke, it was overpriced. I was willing to let it go because I thought the pork chop was going to be delicious. While it looked amazing, it was underseasoned and underwhelming. The service was also not amazing tonight. While the service started off knowledgable and helpful, not a single person asked me how my meal was or came by to check on me. The only thing that I cant really knock is the charm of the restaurant- which is just cozy and warm looking.

The Little Owl was soooo cute! It's based in Greenwich Village. When I went, it was the venue for Martha Stewart to promote her pies and cookbook. Thus, there were samples of her famous pies featured throughout the room. I'm not a baker by any means, but even I fell under the sway of Martha Stewart and her pie-baking powers.

Another great NY farm to table restaurant. Very small and tables are hard to get. Menu is a mix of American / European cuisine. Other than the frustration of getting a table, won't disappoint.
