Gayle and a couple friends to me to Loft for Lunch on my Birthday. It was a rainy day as we trudged over here from Caldera, which was my first choice. It was a good thing that Caldera was closed, as my group does not share my casual Brew Pub ways, and they wanted something a little nicer and more comfortable.

The restaurant is upstairs and with the handsome interior architecture, the posters on the wall, and the background music, it was if I were back in France. Ah the memories. Her name was Colette....

Anyway, we all had a great meal on this dreary day. I had the Croque Monsieur with some sort of an Indian-tomato soup. Not only was it delicious, but I was happy full the entire afternoon, and to a point that all of us only had snacks for Dinner. The service was also quick, attentive, and friendly. It was a perfect Birthday Lunch and there was no need for dessert.
