Great value. Simple but clean and modern rooms on the top floors of the Sayulita bookstore. They are also super well located and the owners respond quickly and the whole reservation/payment is painless.
The rooms are accessible via a winding staircase so if you have a big suitcase you will have to haul it up!
Room #2, the biggest with two queen beds and two ceiling fans is quite comfortable and roomy. Note: you can't hang your clothes. There's simply not a place to hang them or hangers but there is place for your luggage and some shelf space.
The bathroom is roomy and has a nice shower area. Not a whole lot of shelf space to store things but its ok. Something else the door is merely a swinging door so ok for good friends and couples but otherwise you might have to leave the room to give each other privacy.
The beds are comfortable, the linens clean and fresh, and Maru makes sure you are well taken care of. Each room has water available, which you will need during the hot nights, and there is also a safe.
There's wifi of course in the rooms and down in the bookstore. In room 2 you have to sit close to the door to get good reception though.
This place would be 5 stars if it had a small fridge to keep cold beverages and opened up the roof terrace to hangout.
If you want a deal and plan to spend most of the day outside, this is the place for you. Clean, quiet, and friendly!
