This midtown Manhattan luxury hotel has a very contemporary design which some do not like, such as open bathrooms and no clothing drawers. But if that is not a problem, the spacious rooms and high tech fittings make this a very good place to stay.Recommended for:Luxury Travelers

While more famous for the Gordon Ramsay restaurant than the hotel itself, the London is a really great option in NYC. The rooms are very large by New York Standards, and comfortably furnished. The location is central - walking distance to Times Square or Central Park. The staff was both friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

What a fucking shite hotel. Rooms are nice but way too noisy. Every time someone on the same floor as you open and shuts their door you hear an incredible bang. The staff aren't really rude but none of them give off the vibe that they want to be working there. Some seem like they'd rather be on their way to the electric chair rather than a shift at The London. But the absolutely unforgivable thing about this hotel is the food. It is atrocious, and that's being nice. I wouldn't be happy with this food if it came from a $2 Diner...and it's anything but. It is extremely over priced and terrible and at Gordon Ramsey's hotel of all places. The guy makes his money shouting at other people for not being able to cook. Try looking inside your own establishments first Gordon. The LA hotel is just as bad. Big disappointment from a massive food lover.
