A modern jewel in a dilapidated part of town but still a walking distance from everything of interest. I love the glass bathroom walls and the 5 different lighting zones you can control from your bedside. Vallet parking, full breakfast buffet, everything was world class. If I'm ever again in Thessaloniki, I'm definitely staying there again.

This could be the best hotel in Thessaloniki for you. But it depends.
Due to its location you need transportation to get to the city center, but it is not that far. By car or taxi it will take you 5 to 10 minutes depending on the traffic.
It is a true design hotel in every aspect. An architecture lover will adore it.
Also, all its rooms have breakfast included. But beware, if you book a superior room, which is the standard one, it is a marvelous room but you will have to pay for the parking and the internet, while if you book a deluxe room you get both these included in the price. So if you book a deluxe room you get a larger room, with parking and 24 hour free internet, and in the end, you pay the same or even less than the superior room. Also the hotel has a really nice gym, which is small but brand new. If its summer you will adore the rooftop pool. Order a freddo and a club sandwich.
It also hosts Thessaloniki's only Japanese restaurant, The Chan.
Dining options at The Met Hotel include 2 restaurants and a bar/lounge. Room service is available 24 hours a day. A complimentary hot and cold buffet breakfast is served daily. Recreational
There are 212 guestrooms at The Met Hotel. Balconies offer city, sea, or courtyard views. Beds come with signature bedding and Frette Italian sheets. Furnishings include desks and ergonomic chairs. Bathrooms feature phones, makeup/shaving mirrors, designer toiletries, and bathrobes. Wireless and wired high speed Internet access is available for a surcharge; guestrooms also offer direct dial phones, voice mail, and in room safes (accommodate laptops). 32 inch LCD televisions have satellite channels and pay movies. Air conditioned rooms also include minibars, blackout drapes/curtains, and electronic/magnetic keys. A nightly turndown service and housekeeping are available. Cribs (infant beds) and rollaway beds are available on request.
