I really enjoyed my stay at the mirage, the room felt luxurious, classy with plush bedding. A gorgeous view and walking around was fun also! Easy to grab a taxi, nice staff!

Been a few years, but rooms where a good size and clean. Had a great view over the pool area. Liked the casino part of the resort as well.

This is the first hotel created by Wynn that evolution the Las Vegas Strip. Many high end hotel were create late but Mirage were the golden child. Even after many year, the hotel still in good shape. The volcano shop are still in display but only run like once in every hour, wish it run more often.

This place is getting really dated. Was just there in Jan 2011, and wow, you can really feel the age. I still remember when it was one of the hot new hotels with free volcano shows! Now I'm not even sure if they still run the volcanos out front.

Definitely not a must stop if I happen to be in Vegas, although their location is perfect so if the price is right, I'm not against staying there.

We stayed here for a bachelorette part. We stayed in one of the suits with an adjoining room. My favorite part was the views, and the separate living area. The room was very large, and it was ideal for 5 girls.

They upgraded the fire show outside of this property few years back, and it is pretty cool to watch while walking the strip. The rooms are nice, but basic. The hotel has undergone quite an update and renovation, which means there are plenty of good restaurants, bars, and nightlife hot spots.

We stayed at the Mirage a few years ago for a Vegas high school reunion trip. It was really all we needed considering the location, ease of access for getting to other hotels, and we could watch the Beatles' Love right in the hotel.

I love their boozy brunch as well! It's an older hotel, but still a classic that's affordable and fun!

Located on the Las Vegas Strip, this was one of the first properties of the “corporate era” of Las Vegas. A theme property with out a theme (I mean that as a good thing). Yes the decor is lush and tropical but it is evocative of nowhere in particular, it is your own tropical paradise.
They have a great selection of restaurants and clubs. I always feel welcome when I go there. Oh and did I mention that they also have a volcano? Worth a stop in. Live it up you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!

Rooms were nicely done with an average view. We were able to fit 6 people in on 2 queen beds - that's how you save in Vegas! Not that we were sleeping much anyway.

    Pros:

    Clean rooms.
Won over $200 playing slot machines. ^_^
Lots of restaurants, bars, lounges, shows, things to do within the hotel itself.

    Cons:
Guest Elevators are a FAR walk from the check-in counter. Even FARTHER from self-parking. Having to wheel your luggage through the lobby and then the entire casino, on carpet, is NOT FUN.

I stayed here on two occasions. First time was in a suite and the room was simply amazing. Second time I stayed in a deluxe room. The room itself was fine, however the BIGGEST CON with this room (located on the 12th floor) was the NOISE. You could hear every little freaking thing in the hall, which I assume means anyone passing by could hear every little thing coming from the room. It's not so bad during the day, but having obnoxious drunk kids screaming and yelling as they walk down the halls sucks. I think that is enough for me to never stay in this type of room again. I don't remember the suites having this problem. There was also a HUGE gap under the door, which also probably contributed to this problem. If I had not stayed prior to my current stay, I probably wouldn't come back.

Hell, I still probably won't come back because the suites are not cheap.
4 stars for the suites and things to do within the hotel.
3 stars for crappy deluxe room and ever other con about this hotel.

I've stayed here a few times--basically because I've gotten killer deals at the last minute (as in a week or less before the trip), the rooms are modern and clean, and the location on The Strip is excellent. (You might also get a regular 'volcano' show from your window--cheesy, yes, but very Vegas). Last time I was there, about a year and a half ago, I paid around $70 for a double. A pretty good deal, I think.

Nice place. The rooms were small but tastefully done. My room had a funny smell and a loud rattling fan in the bathroom that helped take a bit of the sheen off the place for me. The bathrooms were nicely done, with marble countertops and floors. The location was great. Not my first choice on the strip, but a solid hotel. If you come here, request a room with a view of the volcano. I didn't have one and heard I missed out.

When your budget does not qualify for a stay at the Wynn but you would still like the experience of a nice resort, I would definitely recommend the Mirage. This place is nothing like it was 15 years ago. It has been completely redone and revamped and it is beautiful. The rooms are sleek looking and very comfortable. They also come equipped with a hookup station for various types of media (just bring your hookup cables) which is now becoming more popular in Vegas hotel rooms but is still not standard in many of them. The resort has a beautiful pool area, fun lounges and good restaurants. It is also home to many comedy shows and the Beatles Show "Love." And the best part of it all is that it is located in a great part of the strip. Pretty much central to everything.
