The Oasis makes a solid pizza... They have a very relaxing atmosphere from an outside patio with tvs and heat lamps to the inside seating with solid wood benches and booths.

Classic Bay Area pub - a favorite hangout of Stanford Alums. Wooden booths have been carved into for 50+ years. Pizza and the burgers are really good, and cheap pitchers of good beer as well.

The Oasis is a great, casual place to hangout after work or a company softball game as I used to do when I worked at a law firm years ago. The place has a classic bar feel with carvings on the worn wood benches and tables over the years. It's just the sort of place you go to grab a few pitchers of few, pizza, and a few burgers. No frills here; just a chill hangout spot.Recommended for:Students

A great Palo Alto dive bar that is decades old. The booths have high walls, you almost feel like you are in a private room (with lots of names and comments carved into the walls). The pizza is great, lots of beer on tap and 3 or 4 TVs that broadcast sporting events. Great for happy hour or a casual dinner - it gets very crowded in the after-work hours, though!

The Oasis is a comfortable place to hang out with a very rich local Stanford atmosphere. The food is usually good, although it doesn't always match the ambiance. I think that the Dutch Goose is a better choice that way.
