Fun hotel, but don't stay on the lower floors. You'll hear the nightclub pounding through the floor til 2am!

I love this place! This Urban Resort, as The OUT NYC refers to itself, truly has it all. Walking in, you'll pass The KTCHN, the adjacent restaurant which features daily $5 happy hour drinks (free bar snacks!), a weekend Bloody Mary bar (bacon!), and a modern American menu full of treats. The hotel itself is chic and modern, welcoming for people of all backgrounds, sexualities, and NYC knowledge levels. Locals and international tourists alike check in for weekends or extended periods to enjoy fantastic amenities like an outdoor bamboo garden, cozy lounges, a nightclub, and a spa with saunas and hot tubs. Gust rooms are clean, bright, and definitely the type of place in which you'll want to have a good time with friends or a significant other. For those trying to experience luxury on the cheap, hostel-style shared rooms are also available. The main hallway features a rotating art gallery of local artists and is definitely worth spending some time viewing.

You wouldn't know it from outside the hotel, but once you step inside there are a lot of surprise amenities that you don't get with hotels in the city. They have three different outdoor courtyards for hotel guests to lounge around, sit in a hot tub and relax in private cabanas. One of the rarer things you'll find at this hotel is their wellness center - you are definitely giving yourself a treat by staying at this hotel. You can make it a girls night (non-hotel guests can bay $50 for a day pass at the spa).

They really make it a fun experience and a one-stop shop if you need a break for trekking out into the city for a nice night out. There's a restaurant and a bar/lounge area and a nightclub on the ground floor of the hotel. There are usually live events, so watch out for those too, to really make take advantage of what the hotel offers.

I loved this hotel! The OUT NYC is like a gay "W" hotel - with a cool nightclub attached AND a great restaurant! Great service, great space, great rooms. I will be back! - I heard they might open an OUT in Chicago next!
