The Park Lane Hotel is conveniently located – on Piccadilly Street across from Green Park, within walking distance to some sites (like Buckingham Palace) and close to hub stations that could connect you with the rest of the city. Our room was big, with walk-in closet, comfortable bed and fairly big bathroom. We had nice lunch at Citrus restaurant while sitting outside and enjoying sun and people-watching.

The location was good, centrally located and easy access to all of the tourist sites.
That was why I gave this 3 Stars.
The service was inconsistent and the rooms were small.
Not my favorite but at $200.00 a night it was a bargin for London.

Old and run down, but location is just across from Green Park and you can go for a nice run during the summer months. Ask for a room on the upper floor facing the park.
A spy was poisoned with nuclear materials at this hotel and made international news. I remember checking in when they had a notice posted that one of the floors was closed due to radioactive contamination. Yikes.
