Although the menu offerings are quite extensive: from French fare like foie gras to fresh seafood like oysters and sashimi to American fare like buffalo wings and burgers to Asian favorites like Indian Tandoori, Malay Laksa, and Thai Tom Yums...phew, we still not come here mainly for the food, but for the ambiance, nostalgia and the views.Recommended for:

I had one day to spend in Hong Kong, and so after trudging around looking for the tram to Victoria Peak on a cold, foggy day, I treated myself to lunch at The Peak Lookout.
It was a good choice, with plenty of options on the menu. I went for some soup and a club sandwich. Everything was delicious, and I enjoyed my meal unrushed, in cozy surroundings. I even read a bit as I marshaled my strength to move on and explore further.
Great menu and good food, but lunch did set me back about US$40. Definitely a treat.
