The Pearl is located in the heart of point loma, very close to the pier & not far from Ocean Beach. You can never judge a book by its cover, the decor inside is stunning & modern. They have a fantastic bar with bottles mimosas on weekends, a pool & often throw fun events! Great staff, lovely rooms! Perfect for a Staycation or for a meal!

Great little boutique hotel in San Diego! Awesome "drive in movie" night, cool rooms with fun design. The only reason I give this four stars instead of five is because I found a few fleas on my pillow... Not ideal. My other business partners did not have this issue, so I'm hoping this wasn't a usual occurrence! I'll definitely stay there again if I get the chance!

The Pearl Hotel located in between OB and Point Loma. This is a hidden gem of San Diego, come here for the unique rooms (stay in The Gem room where there are mirrors on the ceiling), the brunch and all you can drink mimosas for $22, the movie nights where you can swim in the pool while watching the projector screen. The service was great and this tiny hotel, only 23 rooms, is seriously great and fun! Would recommend the hotel for the younger crowd. Maybe for a stay cation since the location is a bit out of the way to get to the beach.

  • The Pearl Hotel

The Pearl reminds me of a much smaller version of the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. And that’s definitely a compliment. This hotel has loads of character. It used to be a an old motel, but has been redone to be a hip little place where all things revolved around the pool. The restaurant is popular not just with the guests but also with the locals. Amongst the many cool events they do, The Pearl holds “Dive-In Movies” during the warmer months. This is where they project a movie on a screen above the pool and people lounge around the area watching, eating, drinking, and even floating. Overall this is a great hotel, but if you’re looking for some peace and quite it may not be the one for you. People here like to have a good time.

It's an adorable boutique hotel in Point Loma. They have a pool and an on site chef. The food is super yummy and the drinks are delish. There are also Dive-In Movies shown on a projector outside by the pool every Wednesday. It's a quaint little place with fresh, modern, award winning design.
