It's a NY institution! Their dogs are snappy and tasty. Wash it down with their great papaya drink. The only reason I can't "love" is because they do not serve fries, knish or any kind of potatoes that I need to have with my dogs.

This place is really special! Good food, from Burgers and Sandwiches to Salads and Pasta. But the Highlight is, that all of the waiters are talented singers, who sing broadway songs while you're enjoying your meal :D

When I was living in Brooklyn, my girlfriend reconnected with her 8th grade boyfriend. They hadn’t seen each other since jr. high or very early high school so it was great that they reconnected. What was even greater though was that he was working on the line at Le Cirque and he invited us to eat there. While he said ...

Totally fine dining. Service was impeccable. Food was also impeccable. An extraordinary amount of attention to detail. If you are looking for something a little bit different but good and not challenging this is a good choice. They do ask for proper attire at this restaurant.

Via Quadronno is located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Known for its “unforgettable cappucinos and paninis", this café is perfect for a casual brunch or a quick snack when you’re in the area. I tried the Pancetta Panini with a cup of cappuccino, as well as shared a bite of my friend’s Bresaola. The paninis were simple yet ...

really cute and romantic wine bar in Hells Kitchen, there's almost always a wait because the restaurant is so small but it is worth it! try the fondue and the tapas dips. They have a lot of delicious mediterranean classics down to a pat.

Pie face does savory pies as well as tiny fruit and sweet pies. The Philly cheesesteak pie is amazing. The milk shakes are good, but the sort that's not thick. Sometimes that's what you want. The atmosphere is a bit loud.

    Hell's Kitchen

A great pre-theater option. Hell's Kitchen serves up "progressive" (i.e., upscale and inventive) Mexican cuisine. A personal favorite is the Hoja Santa-Crusted Tuna Tostadas with Guacamole and Grilled Pineapple. Always kills me that there are tourists eating at Applebee's a few blocks over when all they have to do is walk to 9th Avenue to have something really good.

Given DB's location and popularity with the pre-theater crowd, I was hesitant. But the food was delicate, the service thoughtful, and the dining room quiet later in the evening.

Sakagura is an izakaya in the basement of an apartment complex across the street from Yasuda. This restaurant is very much hidden and quite possibly the best izakaya I've eaten at in the US. Everything was a hit at this restaurant, the pork belly and lobster/uni friend rice were particularly memorable. The atmosphere is very laid back and a great ...

Toloache Restaurant is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to, hands down. It's also one of the most expensive ones. However its hefy price tag is justified once you've tried anything on the menu. I had the Costilla de Res when I went to Toloache for the first time. It was braised beef short rib covered in carrot-chile ...

We went to this restaurant at the Columbus Circle for lunch on our recent visit. The best mussels and fries. EVER! BXL Cafe is a Belgian restaurant and serves fantastic mussels and fries. I ordered a big pot of mussels dipped in Thai curry sauce. It sounds weird to mix the two disparate flavors together, but they work amazingly well. Also, did I mention a pound of mussels and a huge portion of fries only ...
