Too much choice. When I end up going to the Japan Centre, I always find myself lost amongst the walls of seafood. I have no idea what to get and always leave with the sneaking suspicion I made a less than favourable choice. But if you know your sushi, I imagine this place is paradise.

I'm torn on this one. Like many old theatres in London, the seating must be designed for VERY short people. Absolutely no leg room regardless of where you sit. But, its a beautiful old theatre with lots of good shows coming thru it. Still worth every penny.

In the 1980s if you weren't a member here then you were nobody. Founded by Joel Cadbury, heir to the confectionery fortune, this is where the worlds of media, advertising and entertainment collided in a champagne-fuelled display of Thatcherite excess. Today it's a more sedate affair under new ownership (a venture capital fund). I'll still remember a now infamous night ...

We rode the red bus all through London, and crossing the Westminster Bridge was one of the best views of Parliament that the tour had to offer. You can also get great shots of the Tower Bridge if you're on the "window" aisle at the top of the bus.

Thankfully we got a discounted ticket for this, I'm so glad we only paid £10. It was great to see some parts of the city I hadn't been to (like through Bank and Monument), and ride a clipper across the Thames. But only a small part of the first film was filmed on location in the streets of London, the ...

Two floors club in Regent Street. Reservation/list strictly needed. The club is not very big and gets easily crowded during the weekend. Very nice atmosphere and music: disco/pop on the top floor, house downstairs. Tables are pretty small and with no seats, you can easily find yourself in the middle of someone else's table...

It is hard for the average person to experience anything quite so diverse and unique as a big African overland trip. I chose African Trails because I loved the fact that you didn't get taken on a tour, you were part of it. You cook and go into the local markets to shop. You don't fly from game park to ...

This is a private members' club catering for professionals within the film, media and creative industries, founded in the late 20th century in London. Its diverse ambiance allows for perfect days/evenings of work, dine and party; the roof terrace and the cinema spaces are particularly nice. Not only the elegant ambiances, but also the consistently good dishes served along with ...

While visiting London in the winter, this became one of my favorite spots. It's spacious, yet cozy. Intimate, yet festive. Several levels of seating makes for private nooks and larger standing areas, all of which are fantastic for sipping from an impressive variety of microbrews and imported beers, as well as a large menu of warming cocktails in the winter. ...

Despite the fact that cycling in London is a bit of a nightmare, the Barclays cycle hire scheme (or "Boris bikes" as the locals call it) is a brilliant way to get around London, especially if you're adverse to the cramped underground!
