The site of the first European settlement in Sydney. Contains some nice old buildings but otherwise it is a bit of a tourist trap.

Great north facing views here at sunset. Sit out on the patio if it's not chilly and watch light change color over the Harbour. The seafood platter is definitely meant for sharing and has an incredible variety of local crustaceans and mollusks. Have an Aussie beer or wine (or both) to wash it all down. Prices aren't cheap (especially if ...Popular withLuxuryBusinessDesign

After shopping for a didgeridoo in the Rocks shops I was sort of beat. I found this shop off the main street and ordered a hot chocolate and croissant to perk me up. They have a comfy little back courtyard that gets some sun, where you can sip in peace. You can even get a good breakfast or lunch here.Popular withGreen

Very Nice restaurant right on the docks of Sydney Harbor, across from the Sydney Opera House. The food was very good, kind of Brazilian BBQ style.

A very strange place which is not coincidentally usually empty. They charge expensive restaurant prices for uncooked meat, which you can throw on their BBQ yourself. Does not seem like the best deal. However, they have a number of tables outside, which are usually free, so grab a pitcher or five from the bar, and go out and take a ...

Wolfies serves some extremely unique game meats like kangaroo and crocodile. The food was interesting- i am not sure i can accurately judge it because i have never had those meats before. The food was pretty good though from an unfamiliar point of view. The restaurant is located in a great part of the harbor though and the restaurant is ...

Drinks are WAY too expensive and the dance floor wasn't very big. The inside of the club is really nicely decorated with the wall vines and a modern-look, but I think that there are better clubs in Sydney. Try the Establishment Bar on George Street, heading towards Circular Quay. Drinks are quite expensive, but the dance-floor is fantastic and the ...Popular withNightlifeBackpackersStudents

great food and an accommodating kitchen (I've eaten with gluten intolerant friends). Kobe Jones is perfect on a sunny day looking across Cockle Bay and the views are equally great at night. The menus has many great dishes to the extent you will be hard pressed to choose. Best with more than a couple so you can taste more of ...

It is a ROTATING restaurant and bar located on the 47th floor of Australia Square- it offers a magnificent and unequaled 360 view of Sydney, the Opera House and harbor. On a clear day you can see ...
