I love the San Antonio River Walk! There's a wide variety of restaurants and little shops. It has a great atmosphere and there's always something going on. There is also the San Antonio Rivercenter mall which has many local stores as well as renowned brands. What I love the most about the River Walk is that you can eat next to the river and go aboard the little boats that give you a tour along the river.

Despite being a tourist trap, the RiverWalk is the most beautiful area of San Antonio (aside from the Alamo, of course). Heaps of riverside cafes, bars, wandering mariachis and riverboat cruises. If you can peal back the layers of gentrification in your mind, you can almost get a sense of what SA might have been like back when it was old Mexico.

A nice place to have a walk and to have a drink or even dinner (although I have to admit that the food around here isn't quite that good). It's an excellent place to juist crash down and start people watching. The "river" is beautifully layed out, with some nice bridges crossing it. Certainly worth a visit for a few hours!

One of San Antonio's biggest attractions!. Beautiful to walk any time of the year. There are lots of good, reasonably priced restaurants along the river. There are many cute shops as well. Its well maintained with a tropical feel and pretty clean (just don't fall into the water). The River Walk is in the middle of downtown so there are many hotels and other attractions all within walking distance.
