    The Fairmont San Francisco

    The Fairmont San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    69 reviews

The Fairmont is great! I recommend coming here during Christmas time every single year because they always have the world's biggest gingerbread house! It's made with ginger bricks and you can actually walk through it! I recommend going to tea during the holidays, or if you don't want to spend $60+, just come during the afternoon for a holiday themed ...

    W San Francisco

    W San Francisco

The W is great for everything except maybe it's crowd. Their bar is great for after work drinks if you feel like being classy and not really talking to anyone except the people you came with. The crowd is very "tech company guys from Soma" and they aren't the best to "mingle" with. However, their drinks and wine selection are ...

Classic grand hotel located conveniently on Union Square. It is close to shopping, eating, site seeing, and the cable car. The Clock Bar near the grand front entrance is a great spot to catch up over specialty cocktails.

This place has the best view in the bay area! The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful beaches in the bay, on top of a cliff, with great hiking trails around it and an amazing golf course. It's a great place for a brunch with a beautiful ocean view and a nice buffet.

Such a modern twist to a hotel, it's almost ridiculous! And I mean that with the utmost sincerity. The lobby alone gave a great first impression. Got to take a short tour of the hotel and checked out their heated pool, outside patio with fireplace, and even got to see one of the rooms. It really has the look and ...

Only the best for this princess! The Palace Hotel in San Francisco! Located directly in front of the BART. Easy to get to if you're coming from the airport. It's in the middle of everything. And, for those nights when you're out late and everything seems to be closed... McDonalds is right next door. I didn't have any problems staying ...

This is one of my favorite hotels in the city. The lobby is gorgeous, the restaurant and room service are both top notch, and the location is hard to beat, sitting next door to Yerba Buena Gardens, the MOMA, and Market Street.

Phoenix Hotel, a Joie de Vivre hotel

    Hotel Class:

This mid-century motel in the Tenderloin is a famous historical pit-stop for rock bands and movie stars. I love the architecture and lay-out, with rooms circling an oblong pool with a mural at the bottom. The Phoenix also features a cocktail bar on the first floor that often features guest DJs or themed parties during the summer.

This is a review of the main space: This Hyatt is HUGE. In the main atrium area there is a big light sculpture hanging down from the ceiling. Check that out. Hotel as a whole is very convenient, being a block from the Ferry Building and in the financial district.

An impeccable European style hotel in San Francisco, very smart and subdued, no kitschy props to offend, so comfortable. Centrally located but just tucked away from the hurly burly and hoi poloi. On the small side for a large hotel, with at least a semblance of intimacy. Food is up to standards too.

    Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley

The Four Seasons and the Rosewood are the nicest options if you are visiting Silicon Valley. The setting at the Rosewood is nicer, with views of the hills, but the Four Seasons does a really nice job, has a great restaurant, and is easy to get to from the airport.

Our company's holiday event was hosted at the Fairmont hotel. The hotel is located at the heart of downtown San Jose right in front of the park. Very festive during the holiday season. This Fairmont, like many other Fairmonts I have been to, is classy and elegant. The staff I have encountered were all courteous and accommodating. The banquet room ...

    InterContinental San Francisco

The InterContinental is all around a fantastic hotel. The hotel is only 3 years old, so it feels pretty new, and the rooms are clean. Everyone I met who was part of the staff was highly courteous and attentive. At 2am one morning, I asked Housekeeping for a toothpaste and, expecting the usual 20+ minute wait at most huge hotels, ...

Beautiful property right on the beach with a view of the harbor. In a town known for more run-down beach motels, Beach House was a breath of fresh air. The building is new and done to very high standards, designed to feel very homey. The rooms are big (the beachside room had a separate living area and sleeping area). They ...

The Rosewood is by far the nicest hotel in the Palo Alto area. It has spectacular views of the hills, a great bar, restaurant and pool area, and the service is top notch.
