So you are in Londontown and want to go to the Theatre... Well this place is simply OUTSTANDING! It is also the location of the Lion King live production in London. It was well well worth it! The theatre is a set up nicely and even though we were on the middle left, we had no problem viewing anything. We ...

When Yankee bartenders found themselves out of work thanks to Prohibition, some jumped the pond to find work, the best ones came here. The bartenders over the years have become as famous as the constant stream of celebrity guests who frequent the place. Harry Craddock's Savoy Cocktail Book is still the bartender's bible, and Frank Sinatra used to sneak in ...

Eliza Doolittle's old stomping grounds, if she wasn't a fictional character. Neverthless, there are flower stands, there are theaters and this is where the theatre goers spill out after the show in West End. We did catch "My Fair Lady" and had pre theatre dinner in this area.

Somerset House is beautiful. It is so spectacular ! Find out a little bit about her history. What a wonderful building. I particularly like the ice skating events which take place every winter. It is romantic and blissful. You must skate at Somerset House. The building is lit up at night and sometimes they have concerts out the front of ...

Opened since 1890, Gordon's Wine Bar is the oldest wine bar in London. The wine bar is often packed with locals. Seating is limited even with the cellar ceiling rooms, but fortunately there's outdoor stand-only tables.

I have such fond memories of the Walkabout. It's an Australian themed bar and located near Soho. I came here during my first visit to London. It was quite the whirlwind trip and climaxed with a wild night out at the Walkabout. The music was throbbing with R&B and alternative jams, and I had so much fun with my cousins ...

As with all Apple stores, this is a busy place, with lots of customers and almost as many employees! This is a two level store in a great setting...a contemporary business in an attractive, older environment. While here, be sure to walk around and investigate the many stores and eateries at Covent Garden.

I prefer the market before all the people get here. Just when the opera singers are warming up along in the atrium. The locals are passing through with their morning coffees and the fresh foods are being delivered for the day.

Located in Covent Garden, Transport of London's museum is an experience not to be missed by kids and adults who are still kids at heart. Anyone who has ever been awed with how London's Underground was built and enjoys large scale engineering works will love this unique museum.

Been a few years since I've been here, but this is a solid day spa along the lines of what you'd find in New York or Philly. Manicures/pedicures and facials especially good. Decent massage too.

I went to see The Bodyguard at the Adelphi Theatre recently. The theatre seemed to be well maintained. I was in the second row from the back and could see ok, but had to lean forward a few times. I think it helped that for The Bodyguard a lot of the scenes were set at the back of the stage. ...

The Hippie loved this play - the history involved in it being the oldest continuously running show, and the classic Christie script. The Yuppie absolutely despised it, so we have to average out our rating here. It's great for people who come expecting a "forumalic" play. It's one of the original mysteries, so don't expect to be too shocked. It's ...

Unfortunately this "Canadian" pub is not very Canadian. I rock up here for expat meetups every now and again, but unfortunately it's not a place I recommend to others. They've got a couple Canuck beers on tap, but the "Canadian" food is pretty sub-par. Would love to see them get it together....time for new management perhaps?!
