Started to be built by the Duke of Somerset in 1547, and completed in 1553, the Tudor style courtyard mansion had been the residence of many prominent England aristocrats and royals. And for more than 200 years had stood as a silent witness of the rise and fall of English Monarchy. The old building was demolished in 1775 as a ...

I was served by a man called Nigel, who was very helpful and informative. He provided me with all the information that I needed with help from his young work collegue. The shop was very tidy and laid out. A nice little shop for all your nautical needs.

Very nice unique little stalls. Apart from the man selling the compasses as these are fake and reproductions so watch out for these. Some bargains to be had!

Covent garden is well worth a visit, particularly if are up for a good shop! It is a very quaint neighborhood, but definitely has it's quirks! When I visited, there was a man hanging upside down from a lamp post playing his guitar. This incident has perhaps forever defined my perception of Covent Garden!

Absolutely loved this market. Dined at a restaurant in what used to be a cellar. Lots of performers everywhere. A group of violinists played music throughout out whole meal. Absolutely fantastic!

Been a few years since I've been here, but this is a solid day spa along the lines of what you'd find in New York or Philly. Manicures/pedicures and facials especially good. Decent massage too.

Apple monstrosity in the heart of London. Book your appointments online before showing up and expect it to take at least an extra hour to see a genius. Being a book and people watch from above the market :)

The bridge itself isn't that interesting, but you don't have to see it if you're standing on it looking at other things.

Kids love this place. It's right in the heart of Covent Garden so it's a good compromise - kids go to the museum, and then you get to do a bit of shopping. Loads of old buses on which kids can run around. Get a tour of the history of transport in London which is really fascinating. If you are ...

I remember reading about Cleopatra's needle in a book as a child. The obelisk was placed in an iron casing that was temporarily lost at sea during a storm. I've see its sister in Central Park as well.

A favourite with tourists and londoners alike, this pub is really something. The interior feels like the inside of a ship - lots of oak panelling, seating on about four different levels and lots of nooks to explore. It's quite easy to get lost in here though, and phone signal is very weak... However, there's lots of speciality beers to ...

The Mousetrap IS the longest running play EVER! My mom saw it when she was a student in London and she took me to see it when I was a student in London. But aside from family traditions, it is a treat to see a story that is so timeless that over generations can still enjoy it.

Really a very cool venue. I went there for Fuerza Bruta and had such a wonderful time. The venue actually acts so much to the show itself. I couldn't have thought of a better places for that show. I can see Roundhouse being a great place for concerts or dance parties. Love it!
