Vancouver's playground stretches from Stanley Park, Yaletown, around False Creek, all the way west to Jericho Beach. Run, walk, bike, or roller blade around it.

The Building is steps a short walk to the east side of the false creek seawall at Science World. The seawall is great for walking, biking, rollerblading, longboarding, or just people watching.

The Seawall is really a must-see and must-walk for a trip to Vancouver. It really is one of the most impressive piece of landmark structures I've ever encountered. Beautifully designed, the seawall is a high rise stone wall constructed around the perimeter of Stanley Park and extends into surrounding areas where land meets the Pacific ocean. The separate pedestrian and bike/rollerblade paths built along the bottom of the Seawall is perfectly maintained and orderly. A popular exercise path, walking/running/biking/rollerblading along the path allows a close and gorgeous view of the English Bay, Vancouver Harbor, Lion's Gate Bridge and North Vancouver. Terrific way of taking in the absolutely wonderful sceneries.

Along the seawall you have people running, cycling or rollerblading. Even walking. Here you will be able to enjoy the water and people. The air is fresh and the people you run across our friendly and energetic.Just sitting on the bench enjoying the view is a good way to spend an afternoon.

Can't be beat on sunny day as an outing for the whole family. Flat, and paved all the way around an easy bike ride even for small kids (our 5 year old has ridden it several times), about 10km all the way around so an easy bike ride or a very pleasant extended stroll. Rent bikes (and trailers too if you have really young kids) from one of the many rental places scattered around (there is a big one at Denman and Georgia). Beaches, playgrounds, restaurants and fantastic views all the way around.Recommended for:Family Travelers

Cycling, rollerskating or walking the seawall on a sunny day in Vancouver is just perfection. If you're lucky, you might see any number of adorable animals - my favourite day included a family of sea otters :)

A really beautiful walk alongside the seawalk, it takes you all the way into Stanley park from the downtown area which is quite pleasant.
This walk will motivate to keep you in shape because everyone that runs here is super in shape (and everyone runs in Vancity!)
