One of the finest hotels in Dublin, this hotel is elegant with lots of space in your room. Across the street from the Dublin's St. Stephan's Green, it is a 5 min walk to Grafton Street (for all you shoppers) and 10 min walk to the Temple Bar District (for all you foodie an night owls). Excellent service here.Recommended for:

One of the top luxury and finely preserved hotels in Dublin, this Marriott run property actually has one of the most upscale lobby bar scene's in the whole city at their No. 27 Bar & Pub. Right across from one of the cites major public parks this bar is a staple go to for locals and vistors alike. I would definitely recommend this hotel for both couples & families.Recommended for:

The Shelbourne has a long history and an unequalled reputation in Dublin. It is by far the oldest of the five-star hotels in town, and the only one that can boast of having had the Irish constitution drafted in one of its meeting rooms. A liveried doorman greets you on the street, and you enter into a well decked-out marble hall. Inside, it’s all in the high 19th-century style—gilt everything, chandeliers, cornices, delicate silverware, and so on. The room was modern and a bit on the small side for the price, but otherwise great. Finding your room could be an adventure—a series of expansions and renovations have made the place a proper labyrinth. They’re planning to build a new leisure center, but in the meantime they’ve got three regular bedrooms kitted out with exercise equipment, which is a bit strange (is it OK to get sweat on the expensive carpet?) but perfectly useable.Recommended for:

This is a beautiful hotel filled with atmosphere and history. It is, just across from Stephens Green Park and near to all the shops and restaurants. The reception and lobby is beautifully decorated and very elegant although the reception desk is not visible straight away when you go in, but a staff member or the very friendly doorman will come to your aid if needed. The hotel bar staff are very friendly, as are all the staff, and the food and drinks served are excellent. The night we were there it was hard to find a seat the bar was so busy! They also do a very nice afternoon tea, which is served in the spacious and relaxing lobby area and including enough food to fill a couple of hungry folk. I loved museum in the lobby, which shows the history of the hotel through the years.Recommended for:
