We didn't actually stay at this hotel, but we spent seventy dollars drinking tea and eating cookies in the hotel's plush lobby.

    Nobu Fifty Seven

0.18 mi from The St. Regis Hotel, New York

Classic Nobu! Great sushi, terrific scene and overpriced. One of the better options near Central Park but you can do far better in NYC. I was surprised how accommodating they were to my young kids.

    Tao

0.18 mi from The St. Regis Hotel, New York

This place is extremely overpriced, but let's face it you're paying for the name. The food was good, but the drinks were better, but my wallet was feeling it later that night.

    Sarabeth's Central Park South

0.24 mi from The St. Regis Hotel, New York

Brunch at Sarabeth's is like a visit back home. Great comfort food in a homey environment that is comfortable for kids and adults. I'm partial to the Green and White and the Red Omelette while the kids always go for the apple cinnamon french toast.

Has been my favorite nightclub in NYC since its opened. Definitely for the more grown up adult classic New Yorker crowd compared to the teenie boppers running around in the Meatpacking District. Great DJ's, great dancers and great music. :)

    Aquavit Bistro

0.16 mi from The St. Regis Hotel, New York
    5 reviews

Exceptional Michellin-starred Nordic restaurant with top-notch food, service, and decor. Aquavit charms from the moment you enter with a friendly welcome and gorgeous minamalist Scandinavian design. A tranquil refuge from the chaos of Midtown. Highly recommended. Don't be put off by the Nordic menu, Aquavit is more than pickled / salted seafood. My shrimp skagen and Swedish bouillabaisse were delicious ...

    The Plaza Food Hall

0.19 mi from The St. Regis Hotel, New York

This Todd English restaurant was a complete surprise to us in the lower lobby level of the Plaza Hotel. After finding out the hard way that you don't just show up for tea at the Plaza we asked the hotel staff to suggest an alternative. We were shown to the Food Hall, which I had envisioned to be a "food ...

    The Modern

0.11 mi from The St. Regis Hotel, New York
    5 reviews

After the MOMA closes, it's worth grabbing a drink at The Modern, the adjoining bar. It's incredibly stylish and full of well dressed people having an expensive dinner. If it's in your budget, you should get dressed up and enjoy the French pri fixe food with exceptional service and view of the Rockefeller Sculpture Garden. If not, try a dirty ...

    Rouge Tomate

Upper East Siders eat without guilt at this elegant New American where the market-driven spa food is calorie conscious but nonetheless delicious; though a few quibble about minuscule portions, it's ultimately a place to recommend for trim waistline types.

Can't help to wonder what the hypes are about. This particular Halal Cart is highly recommended by almost every single foodie friends that I trust. I have no choice but to place this on my must try list for my recent NYC trip. Got there around 10pm and the line is not too horrible. I have been warned of the ...

On the whole I think this place is fairly overrated. There's usually a wait and the food generally isn't worth it. The main reason I've really enjoyed this place is their frozen hot chocolate. It's wonderful.

    Shake Shack - Theater District

0.8 mi from The St. Regis Hotel, New York

Shake Shack—the East Coast's answer to In-n-Out! Juicy, medium-rare, smashed burgers, buttery buns, and an out-of-this-world spicy mayo makes this joint a hit with tourists and locals alike. The shakes and ice cream ain't so bad either. I recommend the double Shack Burger. And if you aren't full by then, try the custard of the day!

    Per Se

0.61 mi from The St. Regis Hotel, New York
    17 reviews

Overlooking Columbus Circle and Central Park from the Time Warner Center, it's a far cry from the French-country-farmhouse-style quaintness of Thomas Keller's French Laundry in Yountville. What Per Se lacks in charm, it makes up for with slick and contemporary, almost opulent interior. The menu, while featuring some Keller trademarks, has taken on a slight edge too it that can ...
