Great location to amazing restaurants and street food, excellent staff, champagne to greet you when you walk in, daily free dessert delivery... what else can you ask for on a vacation?
Oh, and a heated indoor infinity pool near the roof that offers excellent city views. Pick up a free apple on your way out of the gym.
The AYCE brunch isn't the best deal, but it has a nice variety of options, including aguas frescas, smoked salmon, and cereal with local milk (for the adventurous).Recommended for:

The staff at The St. Regis kept us waiting 20 minutes before showing us the rooms, but the hotel was worth the wait. It's stylishly stunning, with shiny wood-grain-pattern tiled floors, streaked teal accent walls and tasteful Mexican art. Sure, the rooms come with things like refrigerators, fruit, mini bars, safes, robes, hair dryers, DVD players and a flat-screen TV with pay-per-view movies, games and international channels. More unique is the second TV embedded in the bathroom mirror, as well as a bedside device that can request butler services, control the room’s lighting and temperature and turn on its “do not disturb” light (which also deactivates the doorbell). Oh yeah, guests also get personal 24-hour butler service and some complimentary ironing and shoe shining. Stop by the hair and nail salon, the spa, the infinite pool (with two hot tubs) or the 24-hour fitness center for a spectacular city view. The spa, which costs extra, includes a steam room and a sauna. WiFi is available throughout the hotel, but costs 225 pesos (about $18) per day. The hotel also has a business center, two restaurants and a bar.

The price tag of the St. Regis isn't for the faint of heart, but it rises above the city's other luxury hotels because of several impressive touches. The hotel is newer than most of its competitors, and it shows. Can't bear the thought of missing stock prices while you brush your teeth? Well, there's a TV screen embedded in the bathroom mirror, so you never have to miss another stock-market update or SpongeBob episode while maintaining personal hygiene. Do you hate walking over to the door to hang a "do not disturb" sign? You don't have to get out of bed at the St. Regis. Just use the touchscreen console next to the bed to turn on a red light outside the door and disable the doorbell. Combine those amenities with the beautiful 15th-floor gym, pool and spa -- all with panoramic views of the city -- and you've got yourself a hotel worth a splurge.Recommended for:
