Our favorite bit of Camden Market, brimming with beautiful sculptures of horses and workers of a bygone era. A photographer's paradise!

Located in Camden Town, The Stables Market is park of the large market area in Camden. The Stables has lots of cute little interesting and unique souvenirs and trinkets.

This diverse, sprawling market is a feast for the eyes (and drain on the wallet, if you let it be), with tons of alleyways lined with stalls selling everything from rock T-shirts to kitchen knick-knacks to jewelry to antiques to Asian noodles and fish pedicures. Anchored by a large clothing store specializing in rave culture and a beautiful courtyard paying homage to the market's history, it's as much a destination for sight-seeing destination as it is for shopping.

The Stables Market is just a block or two walk away from the Camden Town station. It's been around since 1854. It is estimated that there are around 700 stalls in operation throughout the week, selling food, books, clothing, art work, and souvenirs. If possible, check out the little tea stall #452 in the basement of the market. They offer scones, tea, pastries, and breakfast options.Recommended for:Local Culture

Make sure you've got plenty of time to wander around, and plenty of room in your camera to take lots of shots. And make sure you stop by the Ha Ha Veggie Bar to try one of the world's best veggie burgers (In unit G54 of the Market Hall building. Head North up Camden High Street from Camden Town Underground Station (or South from Chalk Farm Station if you want to avoid the crush of tourists at Camden Town). At the junction of Castlehaven Road, where the railway bridge crosses the street, head left (obviously right, if you're heading south) into Camden Market. It's just inside on the left.)
