Very unique space. The lobby seems more like an enlarged living room with the chicest furniture in town, opening up to a gorgeous bar area that encourages mingling with fellow guests. The set up for business types allows for easy plug-ins that are actually on the tables. They should let Starbucks in on this electrified table. A pool is on its way, but they didn't tell me exactly when that would be. I can only imagine the glorious pool they will construct... The suites are over the top decadent with Chesterfield-like sofas and chairs. The closet had a full on door because it was a walk-in closet. Stunning all around.Recommended for:

What’s not to love about the Stoneleigh. Set in a historic building in the posh area of Uptown Dallas, I felt like a million bucks just walking through the lobby. The décor is elegant but comfortable with neutral tones set against marble and hardwood flooring. The hotel is currently constructing residences next door after which a pool will be available. The thing that struck me most about my visit was the service. Everyone seems to really take pride in their job here. There’s a bar and restaurant inside and then you’re steps away from an assortment of eateries and bars. Really can’t beat the location here. And if you’re up for a hike, you can literally walk a few blocks to the Katy Trail.Recommended for:

This is my favorite hotel in Dallas! Lovely hotel!
This hotel clearly does a great job of training the people who serve the guests, and they all seems to truly love their work.
The food is amazing! The people, the atmosphere, and location make this a place I will definitely want to stay at again!Recommended for:

This hotel is place right in the heart of uptown, and you can feel it the moment you see it. Though the exterior is (appropriately) aged, the interior is modern and refined. The lobby is small, but the bar takes up enough to space to make up for it. There are plenty of meeting rooms, which are big enough for a medium-sized gathering. The in-home restaurant is very nice and serves up some tasty meals. My sister used to live across the street, and we would find ourselves in there occasionally. They are building a residence next door to this hotel that is supposed to be related, which means more locals will be floating around. That makes sense because this hotel makes you feel like a local even in an exclusive neighborhood such as this.Recommended for:

The Stoneleigh is one of my favorite boutique hotels in Uptown. It’s fun, posh, and historic. I’ve visited for a friend’s birthday festivities in the Bolla Bar (which now T/X, by the way), and another time I had the good fortune of visiting the spa. The decor is a modern spin on 1920s Art Deco and the result is both elegant and inviting. To my surprise, they don’t have a pool (gasp!) but it’s in the works as soon as they’re done with construction of the Stoneleigh Residences, a high rise that will no doubt have all of the amenities and luxuries of the hotel.Recommended for:

In an interesting bit of irony, the Stoneleigh Hotel recently underwent $36 million in renovations to be restored to its original 1920s art deco grandeur and it looks incredible. Once you pull into the driveway from uptown, you leave your car at valet and walk a long red carpet into a fun and classy lobby where guest services are happy to assist you and you enter your room decorated in bold jewel tones with a sitting area and linens that beacon you. The full service day spa carries some of my favorite products and offers holistic organic treatments and there’s a great fitness center so you can hit the gym during your stay. Bolla, the restaurant is chic and even showcases the “the” from the original The Stoneleigh sign which you can enjoy while dining on the innovative menu of Chef Cesar Gallegos.
