    A Southern Season

4.98 mi from The Streets at Southpoint

A Southern Season is like Whole Foods. It has lots of specialty foods and the slightly snooty audience to go with it. There are wine, coffee, and ice cream bars inside, giving people even more excuses to block traffic by lingering in the aisles.

    Guglhupf Bakery & Patisserie

4.84 mi from The Streets at Southpoint
    2 reviews

Hmm ... what do I love more: the breakfast pastries at weekend brunch, or the yummy sandwiches at lunch and dinner? The prices are fantastic, the front patio is generally climate-controlled because of the surrounding walls (cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter), and I always run into friends.

    Neo -China

4.24 mi from The Streets at Southpoint

The decoration of this place is really nice and the place is well lit. The food was great except the walnut shrimp is not the traditional walnut shrimp I'm used to. There was no mayonnaise and the shrimp isn't battered and then fried. I'd come back for the sesame beef.

    Dame's Chicken & Waffles

6.7 mi from The Streets at Southpoint

I and my boyfriend's first chicken & waffles...AMAZING. We happened onto this place in downtown by chance. Come for a chicken & waffle dinner and be sure to order the greens. You can customize your order - I had sweet potato waffles which were to die for. Cool atmosphere emphasizing the signature dish's supposed 'Harlem Renaissance' roots. Great staff, impeccable, ...

Came here on Saturday for NCIAP Peoples Medical Care banquet with all of the top doctors in North Carolina. Great venue. The hall was beautiful and very big, perfect for our event. Staff was very kind and management generously gave a sponsorship for our nonprofit cause. Hope to come again next year.

Allen & Son Pit Cooked Bar-B-Que

13.49 mi from The Streets at Southpoint
    3 reviews

While I like the atmosphere of the Chapel Hill Allen & Son better, the Pittsboro location is right by Fearrington Village and the adorable town of Pittsboro, which makes for a fabulous day trip. There is no better bbq in the Triangle than this institution, however, I almost always get a split plate of their classic pulled pork barbecue with ...

    Beasley's Chicken and Honey

19.16 mi from The Streets at Southpoint

I have been a couple of times, and both times I was underwhelmed. The mac and cheese is too heavy for me, as is the chicken pot pie. The chicken biscuit also wasn't as good as I expected, although I like the concept. With plastic seats and chalkboard menus, the staff always rushes you through. Since the prices aren't that ...

    Raleigh Times Bar

19.1 mi from The Streets at Southpoint

Housed in the old Raleigh Times newspaper office, nothing is as quintessentially Raleigh as this restaurant and bar. You can't beat the affordable $2 PBRs or the nachos, which are topped with BBQ pork from The Pit. Sit outside on the sidewalk during the day and you'll find yourself surrounded by a diverse crew of locals- and maybe even spot ...
