If you’re looking for a cheery, easy-going, upbeat place to stay, which, on top of it all, is in the heart of Athens and is easy on the pocketbook, then this is it. From the moment I walked into the Inn, the atmosphere and staff welcomed me, and walking the halls to the room, the cheery yellow walls with stenciled flowers and positive messages brightened my day. The room didn’t disappoint - bright and cheery as well, which drowned out the basic furnishings. This room had a private bathroom, rather than the shared option, but the common WCs looked clean and user-friendly. The garden bar and patio was lush and relaxing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fun, budget option in Athens.

The beautiful quote painted on the wall of the bright yellow-orange sunlit colored room is such a warm welcome. The hallways have painted flowers of all kinds on them. I feel the artistic touches create a powerful atmosphere of comfort and warmth. It’s a hostel but a very nice one situated smack in the middle of Plaka, 20 yards from Plaka’s main square. It’s as central as can be for the food, bars, shopping, cafes, and walking distance to where surrounding areas where locals go like monastiraki, psiri, syndagma, kolonaki and many other neighborhoods. The room, small in size, comes with a bathroom but other rooms may have an independent common bathroom and cleanliness seems to be the rule. Also, you'll meet ‘Billy’ the parrot in his cage in the breakfast-bar-lounge area where surrounding trees and plants gave me a cool jungle feel.
