Brought the fam here Sunday Morning for breakfast because the Ballroom Brunch had no reservations available. I glanced over the Brunch Menu on-line and was really excited about several of their a la carte items. Unfortunately, we arrived too early and before "brunch" menu time. I didn't realize this until we were ready to leave and asked to glance over the menu once again at. We were presented with the "breakfast" menu when we arrived and I was bummed to not see any of the items I was excited about trying. We opted for the "buffet" which was not what I had expected - it was more along the lines of a "continental" breakfast - no carving station, no seafood, no omelet station, no french toast, or pancakes. They had an omelet station but I'm not big on egg and the line was really long and slow moving. They had fruit, bagels, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage links, potatoes and cereal boxes. No really my idea of a buffet but ok. We did order the french toast off of the breakfast menu. It was quite tasty but rum flavored and I don't do rum. $160 for 3 adults and a child for hotel food - continental breakie style is not something I'll do again.
The outdoor seating at Terrace is nice and the hotel is lovely. We will certainly return again, but after 10A or for Afternoon Tea.
We did have a chance to see the eleven new baby duckies :) My son loved this, they were sooo cute! and swimming in the pond in the courtyard with their Mommy.Recommended for:Family Travelers
