The Time is a 4 star option positioned perfectly in the Theatre District between Times Square, Central Park, and Rockefeller Center. The interior design is conventional with a touch of posh, but the hotel could use some minor updates in order to rival with it's 4 star competitors in the vicinity. Overall, the hotel is a good option for a good night's rest and revitalizing shower after a great night out.

    Location Location Location.
3-4 minute walk to times square and right next to the Eugene O'Neill Theatre.
Rooms aren't big, the wifi signal is low and the hotel isn't much to look at but the service is good and the staff real nice.

Effortlessly chic, stepping into The Time's sleek black and white interior, illuminated by a glowing blue fish tank and bright natural lighting, offers a vacation from a vacation in Times Square. A perfect spot to relax after a long day or to stop an refresh during the day's itinerary, you can't ask for a location more central! Especially for the price, The Time is a great choice for those who want to see and do it all. Right in the middle of Times Square, plenty of entertainment and dining options are available, including Serafina next door and the several Broadway Theaters on the block. A friendly, accommodating young staff will help with hospitality needs and concierge services in NYC.

You can't find a more exciting location, especially if you're a big fan of Broadways like I am. You're literally next to theatres presenting classics like Chicago and newer shows like Book of Mormon, all within a short walking distance. The hotel also has a bit of glam and sophistication that any seasoned traveler would appreciate, as well as big bold colors. Bathrooms have either stand-up showers or tubs, so if you like soaking in the bath, make sure to request a room with a bathtub.

The free wifi in the lobby is unfortunately not the best, but at least it's free. There's a small gym with some machines and weights. If you head up to the second floor, it's home to a lounge which features happy hour during the week from 5-11pm (5-9pm on Sats) with half-priced specialty drinks, a food menu and free wifi. It's also open to the public so you can invite any local friends to hang out.

Not a place to go on a weekend night. Everyone is from out of town and they don't keep the crowd under control. However, with the decor there is a lot of potential.

You don't need much from a hotel room in New York. The Time doesn't give you much space but makes good use of it. It's close to the subway. They often run specials so you can get really good deals.

very creative use of space! i guess that's expected for any hotel in NYC. no real closet, just a cubby hole with a curtain over it. and the bed pretty much butts up right to the wall. but it was clean and modern, and the price wasn't too bad for times square. the time we stayed, they were still building out the bar/restaurant, so the elevators were getting stopped up. otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and the location.
