The Tipsy Pig resides in a nice spot on Chestnut. The food looks gourmet, but must be eaten indoors, separate from the patio area where people have drinks. I had my first Shirley Temple here, as far as I knew, and this was where I celebrated the end of a Chinatown event with guys and gals who wanted to let loose and have fun.

My favorite spot in the marina... They have a great out door lounge where you can get rowdy and enjoy the lovely weather. I always run into friends and end up having a great time!

Strawberry Fields forever! Get the shishito peppers, bacon Mac n cheese and wedge salad. Awesome outdoor back patio to lounge and people watch when the weather's nice.

Excellent seasonal food menu with some comfort food staples. Great back patio, craft cocktails, great wine deals during the week, and always a lively crowd. Call and make reservations so you're taken care of!

Very lively bar and restaurant. They have good pub food but come early cause the Marina crowd starts filling the place by 7 pm. They don't take reservations.

Great place to grab casual food with friends. Love their barbecue sandwich. And even better, turns into a fun late night hang out with friends. Located on chestnut street near tons of great boutiques and restaurants. Fun place, good food and a central location. What more could you ask for!

Nice atmosphere with great beer selection. Cocktail list has interesting offerings as well. Food could also be ordered at the bar. They have a beautiful patio in the back that is great to just sit and hang out with a beer especially when the weather is nice both during the day and at night. They do have heat lamps. Service may be a bit slow but depends on the night/day. Brunch is served on the weekends and so is their awesome only on the weekends bloody marys. A great relaxing and laid back place for drinks with friends.

The Tipsy Pig draws a good crowd of 20 and 30 somethings looking to have fun and sip plenty of pints. Friday and Saturday night is usually packed and this is a great spot for large groups and birthdays etc. The bar has a distinctive British pub feel, there's dark wood, dim lights, and yellow lanterns throughout. There is also a long bar in front, with tables and standing areas. But towards the back you'll find thick wooden tables and benches and outside there's also tons of seating. Definitely a can't miss bar if you're in the area. Beer ($5-7) and Cocktails ($9-13).

Tipsy Pig is a nice English pub in the middle of the Marina. Great service and a good beer selection ensure a fun time, but it’s the patio that really makes it great. While I probably wouldn’t want to be caught here during busy party nights (as one runs the risk of spiraling down into the Marina frat scene), it’s a great place to relax during a nice San Francisco day.

While they serve food, their kitchen operates on separate hours; so if you’re hungry, you should keep an eye on those times.

Liked it, didn't love it. But, if you are looking for decent pub food and good wine prices, they do half-price bottles on Mon - Wed.

Description

An "American Gastrotavern," the Tipsy Pig takes its cues from the British gastropub with hearty, high-quality food like sliders and fried (free range) chicken served in a cozy atmosphere. The Tipsy Pig has been recognized as one of the Bay Area's top restaurants by critics.
